What customers say?

“ We found the bakery by chance. Thank you Google maps. We each had a steak pie (delicious), a cake (huge and yummy), and coffees. What a great find. ”

- Alan Wheeler -

“ We were there in July 2024 and wanted to eat scones with clotted cream. Unfortunately, the owner was in the process of closing the store. Nevertheless, she let us in and fulfilled our wishes. And it was VERY VERY tasty! She then chatted with us for a while (despite my poor English) and we would like to thank her again for the food and the friendliness! ”

- Nikolaus F. Kranich -

“ Weeks bakery is an amazing bakery and tearoom. From the delicious cakes, baguettes with plenty of fillings, almond croissants, sausage and chorizo sausage rolls and plenty more to choose from. They do amazing coffees, hot and cold drinks. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Weeks bakery is a gem in the heart of Goudhurst so if you are passing by, pop in and you won't be disappointed. ”

- Karina Faulkner -

“ Lunch coronation chicken baguettes with bacon roll and cheese sandwich all hand made with a smile. Very old school slice of England. You should pop in. ”

- John Minghella -

“ Stopped off on our way through from Canterbury to Worthing whilst taking in a couple of women's IT20 matches. The coffee and cake we had in was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming and obviously well known and popular in the local community. I'd thoroughly recommend the BLT cheese bread and white chocolate caramel slice that I took away for later and my wife loved her cream cheese and cucumber bagel. We'll be back when we're in the area again. ”

- Simon Bean -

“ Lovely tea rooms in a beautiful village I will always stop for a coffee and a Bakewell Tart when in the area ”

- Mick Bates -

“ Had a lovely lunch on Monday then had a great breakfast today friendly staff and a warm welcome will go there again when pasting through. From kay & Russ ”

- Kay Osborne -

“ Weeks Bakery & Tea Room is a true gem in a beautiful village. It has a wonderful selection of sandwich fillings. The portion sizes of both the sandwiches and cakes are generous to say the least, you definitely won't leave hungry. The cakes are made onsite and are so yummy! They seem to be known more though for their sausage roll offering. A must try - they are the best sausage rolls around. The drink selections are also great with amazing coffees (which I get every week I go in), smoothies and milkshakes. Finally the staff are so welcoming and chatty whether you are a local or someone passing through the village. Overall this tea room and bakery is a little gem and one not to miss if anywhere near Goudhurst ”
